Hello Everyone!

We are Teddybarns and we are the mascots for Craigiebarns Primary School. We like to travel and we will write about our adventures on this blog.

The countries we visited in 2009 were Poland, Finland, Romania, Germany, France, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Turkey and Shetland.

New countries for 2010 are Cyprus and Hungary.
One of us is now in Australia – now that’s a long way!

Please keep reading our blog to find out where we are and what we are doing. Please leave comments as we would like to know if you like our blog.

Trip to the Beach

Today I went to Broughty Ferry beach with Thistle from Hungary. He is a Hungarian sheepdog. It was very hot and sunny today and I think Thistle must have been very warm with his shaggy coat. I certainly was with my scarf on. The boys and girls of 4a came with us and we made sandcastles, had ice cream and enjoyed the views of the castle. What a fun day!

Returning Home

Highgate bear from Cyprus and Pencil Mouse from Czech Republic are now on their way home. Only Thistle from Hungary is still at Craigiebarns.

Australian Animals

I met a koala bear and a dingo (wild dog) at the science museum. Both are animals that are only found in Australia. The dingo was very scary and the koala, although cute and cuddly looking, had very sharp claws.

Thistle at Craigiebarns

Thistle, the Hungarian sheepdog mascot from Hungary is being looked after by class 4a. Can you see him? Next week they are taking him to Broughty Ferry beach and castle. If it is a sunny day, they are going to have an ice-cream before returning to school. I will probably go with them but I hope I won’t need my jumper from Lithuania which I am wearing in this photo!
