I have been helping the boys and girls to make things for the Hranice Christmas Market. I am staying in the Czech Republic over Christmas and will be going to their special festivals in January. I will tell you more about them in the new year.

Back from Finland

I returned from Finland this week. There was lots of snow and I have learned how to use my snowboard. It was also snowing back in Dundee when I arrived, so I was able to show 5a how to play ice hockey and Rambo and I had a shot at snowboarding together. What a laugh we had and I was very wet and tired. Some of the girls used a hairdryer to help me dry out.

St. Paul’s Well

Today I visited Tarsus which is 14 miles from Mersin. It is a historic town with a museum, old houses and a mosque. It is the birthplace of St. Paul and the best thing to see is St. Paul’s well. Here I am in the bucket, ready to go down the well. (I didn’t really – we were just pretending!)

Nearby is the Tarsus waterfall – it is quite spectacular.

Jonny is at Craigiebarns

I returned to Craigiebarns with Jonny from Lithuania, just in time to go to the P2 banquet. The class were dressed up as Lords and Ladies and we danced and played games before we ate bread and cheese as part of our banquet. Later on in the month, Jonny joined in the fun at the P2 Christmas party.
