It was a beautiful sunny day when I went down to the Mediterranean Sea with one of the classes from Mersin school in Turkey. We walked along the promenade and looked at the yachts in the marina. What a lovely place, I think this would be a great place to come on holiday. The island of Cyprus is not very far across the sea from here. One of my brothers is going there in January.

Roudoudou has been very busy since he joined class 6a at Craigiebarns. He enjoyed the fireworks on November 5th, he has made healthy vegetable soup and has learned to swim.

The boys and girls at Mersin school in Turkey are lovely and have been so kind to me. I have been with boys and girls of all ages from the youngest classes to older boys and girls. I hope that Yumak is having as great a time as me at Craigiebarns.
It has become very cold here in Lithuania. I have been given a new sweater which has been knitted in the colours of the Lithuanian flag. I think it looks super and it is certainly keeping me warm. Kupiskis has a very large church in the middle of the city, you can see it in the background of this photo.

Kupiskis stands on the River Kupa – doesn’t it look nice on this lovely, cold sunny day?
Can you see me on the bridge with my class and their teacher?

I am SO excited!! My class in Finland have made me a snowboard and an ice hockey stick. It has started to snow here and they are going to teach me some winter sports. Konopetelo School are the district ice hockey champions, so I will have good teachers.

I have found a girlfriend in Turkey. She is very sweet and has been looking after me. The other boys and girls are really lovely and I am going on a tour of their city, Mersin, at the weekend. I am looking forward to that and I will write in my blog later and tell you all about it.

Rambo from Finland has really settled into Craigiebarns. He has a card for the behaviour chart and a stamp jotter to make sure that he behaves. I think he has had a green warning already. I wonder what that was for?

Class 6a received a parcel this morning from France. They were very excited and had to stop work and open the box at once. It was Roudoudou, the coyote and letters from the boys and girls in France. Some were in English and some in French.

I have met Jonny in Lithuania. He has been made especially to send to Scotland. He is a character from Lithuanian fairy tales and I am going to learn more about him. In this photo he is choosing the material for his clothes.

These are my classmates in Finland. It is very cold and it has been snowing. They are wearing very thick jumpers and I am glad that I have my scarf. The students are going to teach me how to play ice-hockey. I am very excited about this. Keep visiting my blog to see if I am good at it!
