I have returned from Poland this week. It was good to visit the pupils of Gimazium School in Zaweircie. They were very kind to me. Zaweircie is a large town in the centre of Poland which is popular with tourists who like to go climbing in the hills around it. The weather was not very good – cold and rainy while I was there so I wasn’t able to go out and see other places. I learned a few Polish words. Cscecz means hello (pronounced chechst) and do widzenia (pronounced dough vidzenya) is goodbye.
