I too would be interested to see what the quality of the recording is like - we are looking into purchasing some of these Easi-Speak microphones for our pupils to use.

They seem to have great reviews as far as I've seen, but I'd still be interested to hear an actual recording before purchase if possible!

Hi,
This work sounds great - unfortunately I couldn't view the movie.

Anyway, this blog post caught my eye because I am currently working on a new piece of collaboration software for 5-7 year olds, based around the story of Goldilocks. In a nutshell it lets up to 4 pupils work together (each with their own mouse!) to create on-screen puppet-based retellings of traditional stories. They can change bgs, control the puppets, control props, include sound effects and visual special effects and much more. They can also record their performances and save them in a gallery for others to view and rate - teachers can even leave audio comments. It's an exciting resource that, through its multi-user capability, facilitates true collaboration around the classroom computer.

So, I was wondering if you'd like to have a copy to try as I think you could use it to offer exciting yet easy-to-use/set-up collaborative working opportunities for the teachers/pupils you work with. If you are interested, please drop me a line.

I ran across a cool blog about <a href="http://whatsocialmedia.ndesignsblog.com/" rel="nofollow">social media</a> etc. Has some good posts.

I think social media is changing how we communicate- what are your thoughts?

I think there's a lot of hype, but some real value there too.

Here in Australia, my school is about to commence a project using NintendoDS for brain training for years 5/6. It appears that we will be the first school in Australia(that we know of) doing this. Researchers from the local University (UWS) will be following our progress. I have been interested in what is happening in Scotland and in Dundee in particular
