Today was the last day of term at Forthill Primary School. It was also the last day of primary school for the P7s, who will be at Grove from August. Next term there will be a lot of changes at Forthill next term. We invite three new teachers, Miss Cumming, Mrs Geddes and Miss Franks. Mrs Mollison has retired so will no longer be working at Forthill, so Mrs Lee will take over as acting depute head.

We wish the best of luck to Primary 7s all the best at Grove, and we wish you all happy holidays and you will hopefully come back refreshed next term.

The Leng Medal is a Scottish singing competition for Dundee School. Every year primary sevens from all across Dundee enter it in the hope of winning a silver medal . In High School you can then try for a gold if you have already won a silver .
Mrs Brannie has been coaching us and soon we will have to sing unaccompanied. If she thinks we are good enough we will go into the next part of the competition …
Good luck to all of the other people who entered !!!!

The nursery children in both classes performed The Nativity.  The children enjoyed being on the stage.  They really enjoyed singing all their songs.

balloons1.jpgFor Christmas p6a and 6b are doing a play Called “It’s a Party” which is all about Jesus.  We have many parts to play and it is all very hard to put together.  We will be performing it six times and I hope it will be very good fun.  We will also be singing songs through it. We will be performing at Anton Olgilvie Centre, The Central Baptist Church and the St Luke’s & Queen Street Church. We hope that everyone enjoys our performance.
