On the 14th and 15th of June, Ancrum Road’s P7 classes went for their induction days at Harris Academy. It was really fun. We got to do loads of subjects, some of mine were P.E, Home Economics, Art, Music, English, Maths and loads more. My favourite subject was P.E because we got football. My guidance teacher is Mrs Bachelor and my class is 1kb and the house I am in is Kinloch. I have met loads of new friends and some in other years. The 6th years were showing me and other 1st years around the school so we didn’t get lost, but even though the induction days were only on for 2 days I think I know my way around the school pretty well now.

In p6 and p7 we had a Spanish link with children in Barcelona.
They sent us messages, sometimes in English and sometimes in Spanish, and we sent them back. We typed in Spanish but our keyboards don’t do the accents. Sometimes it was very hard to know what they were writing. Sometimes it was boring because they didn’t send us letters back. My guy lived in a big house and he had a swimming pool. They were all in the same year as us. They were all the same age as us.
