A.R.C. Tell the World

On the 24th May,2007 the primary seven classes went to Lochee Park with members of staff from the Ancrum Centre.It was great fun but it wasn’t very good weather.We were put into groups and then a member of staff from the Ancrum Centre led each one.The first activity that our group did was an activity where you had to join poles together and let the tennis ball travel all the way down, when the ball reached the end of the pole you were holding, you ran back to the start of the line.The second one was when you had to put tyres in order starting at one and getting up to five.You only had three cones and a lower number could go on a higher number but not the other way around.
Some of the groups didn’t get to do all of the activities but we did as much as we could.
Our favourite ones were the one when you had to get the box out of the rope.If it toppled it would blow up and if someone stood in the rope the same thing would happen.The second one that we liked was the bowling game.You had to throw a ball and hit one of the wooden bowling pins. If you hit one then you would get the amount of points that it was worth. If you hit two then you would get two points.
We had two hours to do all of the activities that we could do and at the end everybody went home feeling happy and enjoyed the Team Building.
