Ancrum Assembly

On the 9/5/07 primary 6 and 7 had an assembly to discuss
the treat that the winning house would get at the end of term, which might be to go to The Factory Skate Park.
Mark, a sports development coach at the skate park came in and told us about the different sessions and times in which you can go to skate or learn how to.
He also explained that if you cannot skate then there is a chill out zone where you can just hang out with your friends.
Mr Watson(our Deputy Head)also introduced Father Miln who talked to us about The Red Cross Society which helps countries which have suffered in war.
He was also talking about his holiday in Malta – which is a country that the Red Cross Society has helped quite a lot in the past.
