Mr. Findlay (the captain of the 6th/8th Dundee Boys Brigade, Lochee) thought it would be of interest to us that the B.B. has sent a number of bikes out to Malawi in Africa to help them.

The bikes came from a local bike shop in Pitlochry. They had to be refurbished because they were not in the best condition. Mr Findlay also sent in some photographs of the people of Malawi on these bikes and as he said, “The photographs speak for themselves.”

The Children of Ancrum Road have had a big success during two years of this Marathon For Malawi. With all the fund raisers they have raised over £2000!! They still hope to get more in order to change people’s lives.

If you are interested in helping the Marathon for Malawi then please contact us at Ancrum Road Primary School in Dundee.
